Screen-Free, Outdoor School Holiday Programs for Kids (Ages 5–12)
Beyond The Bell is all about real play, real friendships and real adventures — no screens, no sitting still, just kids being kids.
We run outdoor holiday programs across Sydney, led by qualified educators who know how to keep kids active, engaged and having fun.
How It Works
You can join Beyond The Bell in two ways:
3-Day Holiday Camps
Multi-day programs based around Sydney Harbour, with flexible booking options.
Out + About Days
Single-day adventures exploring beaches, parks and cultural spots across Sydney.
Both options are active, outdoors and built around teamwork, creativity and connection.
3-Day Holiday Camps
Based at some of Sydney's prettiest harbourside locations, our camps mix:
- Outdoor games and beach time
- Team challenges and scavenger hunts
- Creative, hands-on activities
Each group helps shape the day, so no two camps are ever the same.
Kids head home tired, proud and usually a bit sandy.
Out + About Days
Single-Day Adventures Across Sydney
These days take us out on the ferries and into some of Sydney’s best kid-friendly spots.
Art Days
Gallery visits at Sydney Modern, the Art Gallery of NSW and the MCA, plus sketching and picnics in the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Pick-up and drop-off from Balmain East, Neutral Bay and Rose Bay wharves.
Out + About Thursdays
Weekly ferry adventures across school holidays to places like Watsons Bay, Manly and Darling Harbour.
Big games, beach challenges and picnic lunches.
Meeting points from Balmain East, Neutral Bay and Rose Bay, 8:00am start, return around 3:30pm.
Feel Good Fridays
A relaxed, child-led day outdoors.
Could be soccer, scooters, park games or just hanging out under the trees — it depends on the group.
Paddle & Play
Held at Greenwich Baths or Watsons Bay, with supervised swimming, beach games and water play.
Have a Younger Child?
We also run Beyond The Bell Juniors for children aged 5–7, with shorter, age-appropriate outdoor sessions.

Typical Camp Day
8:00 – 9:00 Arrival & games
9:00 – 10:30 Team challenges / nature play
10:30 – 11:00 Morning tea
11:00 – 12:30 Beach, harbour or park activities
12:30 – 1:15 Lunch & downtime
1:15 – 2:45 Creative or skills sessions
2:45 – 3:00 Wrap-up
3:30 – 4:30 Pick-up
Late stay available until 6:00pm
What to Bring
- Food for the day (nut-free)
- Water bottle
- Hat & sunscreen
- Closed shoes
- Swimmers, towel & change of clothes on water days
- Any medication, clearly labelled
We provide BTB rash vests for easy identification when we’re out and about.
