Our program is designed for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Activities are tailored to different age groups, ensuring engaging challenges for all skill levels.

Each day brings a variety of team challenges, problem-solving games, and outdoor adventures. Kids will take part in everything from on-the-water experiences to creative and skill-building activities, all designed to build confidence, friendships, and a love of the outdoors.

Does Beyond The Bell accept Active Kids vouchers?

Yes. Beyond The Bell is an approved Active Kids provider and families can use their voucher toward the cost of our school holiday programs.

How do I use my Active Kids voucher when booking?

Simply enter the code ACTIVEKIDS at checkout to apply the $50 voucher discount to your booking.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Please bring your child’s Active Kids voucher QR code or voucher number on the day of the program so we can scan and redeem it through the NSW Government system.

What if I’ve already booked my child?

No problem. If you already purchased a ticket and have an Active Kids voucher, just bring the voucher on the day and we will arrange the $50 refund once the voucher has been processed.

Can I use more than one voucher per booking?

The NSW Government allows one Active Kids voucher per child per program, which provides a $50 discount.

Do all activities qualify for Active Kids vouchers?

Active Kids vouchers can only be used for eligible programs that involve structured physical activity. Beyond The Bell programs include outdoor games, team challenges and active play that meet the program requirements.

Beyond the Bell runs premium, outdoor school holiday camps across some of Sydney’s most iconic harbour-side locations.

Our camps are currently held at:

• Balmain Scout Hall, Mort Bay
• Lane Cove 12ft Skiff Sailing Club, Longueville Wharf
• Mosman Rowing Club

Each location offers direct access to parkland, open green space and the foreshore — allowing us to deliver energetic outdoor games, creative challenges and carefully supervised waterfront activities in a truly special setting.

We are also preparing to launch Beyond the Bell Juniors at Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre (dates to be confirmed), designed specifically for younger children transitioning into primary school.

From Balmain to Lane Cove and Mosman, our Sydney harbour camps are built around movement, fresh air, connection and confidence — all in safe, well-staffed environments families trust.

Seasonal programs will also return to Watsons Bay in Spring and Summer, making the most of Sydney’s spectacular coastal playground.

Beyond The Bell is family-owned and operated, led by a team of experienced educators, outdoor specialists, and childcare professionals who are passionate about delivering safe, exciting, and enriching experiences for kids.

Each day at Beyond The Bell is packed with adventure, creativity, and exploration. Kids will take part in a mix of team challenges, hands-on activities, and outdoor experiences, with plenty of opportunities to move, think, and discover.

A typical day might include:

No two days are the same—each session is designed to be active, engaging, and screen-free, helping kids build confidence, friendships, and a love of the outdoors.

Absolutely! While some activities take place near the water, all sessions are designed with safety as the top priority. We provide coastline activities, supervised water play (where applicable), and land-based alternatives to ensure every child feels comfortable and included. Children are not required to swim, and any water-based activities will be closely monitored by our trained staff. 

If you have specific concerns, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to discuss how we can accommodate your child’s needs.

Our camp runs from 8am - 4.30pm each day.

Need a later pick up? We've got you covered!

For families needing extra flexibility, we offer a late pick-up option until 6:00 PM for an additional fee. This can be added at checkout when purchasing your child's ticket. Kids will enjoy relaxed, supervised activities to wind down after an action-packed day!

We aim to keep kids active rain or shine! If the weather is unsafe (e.g., storms or extreme heat), we have contingency plans, including modified indoor or sheltered activities. Parents will be notified of any major schedule changes.

We welcome all children and do our best to provide an inclusive experience. If your child has additional needs, medical conditions, or requires extra support, please contact us in advance so we can discuss how to best accommodate them.

At Beyond The Bell, we create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where all kids can have fun, make friends, and enjoy their holiday experience. We expect all children to show respect, kindness, and cooperation with both staff and peers.

If a child displays disruptive or unsafe behaviour, our team will:

1. Provide a reminder about expectations and encourage positive choices.
2. Give a second warning and offer support to help them re-engage.
3. Contact parents if the behaviour continues or poses a risk to others.

In cases of serious or repeated behaviour issues, we may ask for a child to be collected early or, in extreme cases, be unable to return. Our goal is always to support kids in learning positive behaviour choices while ensuring a great experience for everyone.

If your child has specific behavioural needs or support strategies, please let us know in advance—we’re happy to work with families to create the best experience possible!

Please ensure your child comes with:
