Our Commitment to Child Safety

At Beyond the Bell, the safety, wellbeing and dignity of every child in our care is our highest priority.

We are a mum-founded, educator-led school holiday program that exists to give kids space to grow, connect, and play — safely and respectfully. We are fully committed to creating environments that are child-focused, inclusive, and free from harm.

As a program operating in NSW, we actively embed the NSW Child Safe Standards into all areas of our operations. This includes:

• Having clear policies and procedures to prevent, identify and respond to concerns about child safety
• Ensuring all staff and volunteers hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Creating a culture of respect, inclusion and empowerment for all children

All Beyond the Bell team members:

• Hold a valid Working With Children Check
• Are trained in child protection and reporting procedures
• Follow a strict Code of Conduct that promotes safe and respectful behaviour at all times

We take all concerns about child safety seriously. If a child, parent, carer, or team member has a concern — we encourage open and respectful communication. We act quickly and appropriately in line with legal obligations and best practice reporting procedures.
