This program is ideal for children aged 4–6, including those preparing for school or still building confidence in group settings.

Each day is a gentle mix of outdoor play, simple games, creative activities and exploration, designed to keep children engaged without becoming overwhelmed. 

The pace is intentionally slower, with clear structure, regular breaks and time to reset throughout the day.

Our experienced educators provide close support, helping children settle in, make friends and feel comfortable in a new environment. We focus on building confidence, independence and social skills in a calm, positive way — with plenty of encouragement along the way.

With small groups and higher staff ratios, children are well-supported at all times, whether they’re joining independently or still needing a little extra reassurance.

These school holidays, Beyond The Bell returns to Mosman with a screen-free outdoor holiday camp based at the beautiful Mosman Rowing Club at The Spit, just moments from Clontarf Beach.

Across two days, children will enjoy a mix of team challenges, outdoor missions, park-based games and waterfront activities in one of Sydney’s most spectacular harbour settings — with open green space, calm Middle Harbour waters and plenty of room to move and explore.

Flexible 1 or 2-day bookings are available, with a stay-late add-on for working Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches families.

All activities are guided by qualified educators, with small groups and a strong outdoor focus — the kind of holiday days where kids come home sun-kissed, salty-haired and beautifully tired.

Our Girls Out + About Day is a special Beyond The Bell adventure designed for girls aged 7 to 13 who love spending time with friends, exploring beautiful places and enjoying a relaxed, happy day out together.

This Winter edition includes ferry travel across the harbour, a cosy hot chocolate stop at Loulou Bistro, and time to unwind with a picnic and playlist in the hidden gem that is Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden.

Girls can join the group from selected harbour wharves including Balmain, Neutral Bay, Rose Bay and Greenwich Point, making it easy to meet the BTB team close to home and travel together for the day’s outing.

From the moment the group meets, children are fully supervised by BTB educators as we head out to explore, wander, picnic and enjoy the day together.

The vibe is relaxed, social and completely pressure-free, with plenty of time for chatting, laughing, sharing playlists and simply enjoying being out together in beautiful surroundings. 

It’s all about fresh air, friendship and a great day out in the city.

Our group leaders bring strong big-sister energy, keeping things fun, inclusive and well-supervised while giving the girls space to feel independent and part of the group.

Join us for a special outdoor day featuring a guided fishing session with the much-loved Fish Whisperer, where kids learn real fishing skills in a fun, supportive setting. With hands-on guidance from both the Fish Whisperer and BTB educators, children will learn how to cast, bait hooks and safely handle fish — building confidence around the water with plenty of opportunities to have a go. 

We’ll be based at Balmain Scout Hall in Mort Bay, a relaxed harbour-side setting with easy access to park space and the foreshore. The fishing session is part of a full Beyond The Bell day, which also includes outdoor games, park-based activities and time to explore — keeping kids active, engaged and moving throughout the day (with warm moments built in).
