KIRRIBILLI NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE

Beyond The Bell Juniors is a screen-free holiday program designed especially for children aged 4–6 years, created in response to demand from families whose little ones are finishing preschool and starting school in 2026.

Based at the Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre, our program runs across multiple days in January in a bright, newly renovated space — just steps from the local playground. Each day blends storytelling, craft, music, imaginative play and park time, led by qualified early-years educators with a low 1:7 ratio.

It’s a gentle, joyful introduction to big-school routines — helping children build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy the magic of summer in a caring, creative environment.

Older siblings are also welcome to join if they’re happy spending the day in our Juniors group — making it a wonderful experience for families to share.

BALMAIN ROWING CLUB

Each Thursday in January we'll be exploring Sydney by ferry: from Watsons Bay (including Camp Cove) to Manly (including Shelley Beach) and Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour.

Think ferries, sand, parks, picnics, and plenty of laughter — all led by our trusted Beyond The Bell educators. These relaxed, screen-free days are the perfect way to extend your camp week with new places to explore and more time outdoors.

Pick-ups & drop-offs:

Balmain East, Rose Bay, and Neutral Bay wharves

Our staff arrive from 8:00am to greet campers, with a departure around 9:00am and an approximate return at 3:30pm.

Pick-up continues until 4:30pm.

After a big week of summer fun, Feel Good Fridays are designed to slow things down — relaxed, social and full of sunshine.

We’ll meet at a harbour wharf (location confirmed each week) and set off for an easygoing day of long play sessions, park games, and creative downtime. 

Think friendly soccer matches, beach cricket, and plenty of space to explore with friends.

Afternoons are all about swimming, sketching, or just relaxing by the water — a screen-free, feel-good finish to the week.

LANE COVE 12FT SKIFF SAILING CLUB

This summer, Beyond The Bell comes to Lane Cove with a three-day screen-free holiday camp based at the Lane Cove 12-Foot Sailing Skiff Club, right on the Lane Cove River at Longueville Wharf. 

Flexible 1, 2 or 3-day bookings are available, with a late-stay add-on for working families.

Kids will explore the river and harbour edge, take part in creative challenges, water-based games and nature play — all guided by qualified educators in a calm, outdoor setting.
