Beyond The Bell Juniors is a screen-free holiday program designed especially for children aged 4–6 years, created in response to demand from families whose little ones are finishing preschool and starting school in 2026.

Our program runs across multiple days in April and includes  imaginative play and park time, led by qualified early-years educators with a low 1:7 ratio.

It’s a gentle, joyful introduction to big-school routines — helping children build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy the magic of summer in a caring, creative environment.

Older siblings are also welcome to join if they’re happy spending the day in our Juniors group — making it a wonderful experience for families to share.

Join us for a special outdoor day featuring a guided fishing workshop with the much-loved “The Fish Whisperer”, where kids will learn real fishing skills in a fun, supportive setting. With hands-on guidance from the Fish Whisperer and BTB educators, children will learn how to cast, bait hooks and safely handle fish, building confidence around the water while having plenty of chances to try for a catch.

We’ll be based out of Balmain Scout Hall at Mort Bay, a perfect harbour-side location with easy access to park space and the foreshore. 

The fishing workshop is part of a bigger Beyond The Bell day that also includes harbour-side games, park cricket, outdoor challenges, creative activities and relaxed free play, all in a beautiful waterfront setting.

This program is suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.

Our Girls Out + About Day is a special Beyond The Bell adventure designed for girls aged 7 to 13 who love spending time with friends, exploring beautiful outdoor spaces and enjoying a relaxed, happy day out together. The day includes ferry travel, a picnic at gorgeous Cremorne Point, a supervised swim at the harbour-side gem that is MacCallum Pool, and a stop for Yo-Chi on the way home for a fun treat with friends.

Girls can join the group from selected harbour wharves including Balmain, Neutral Bay, Rose Bay and Greenwich Point, making it easy to meet the BTB team close to home and travel together for the day’s adventure. 

From the moment the group meets, children are fully supervised by BTB educators as we head out to explore, picnic, swim and enjoy the day together.

The vibe is healthy, happy and completely pressure-free, with plenty of time for chatting, laughing, sharing playlists during picnic breaks, creative moments and classic Beyond The Bell outdoor fun. It’s all about enjoying the day, meeting new friends and making memories in a positive, supportive environment.

Our group leaders bring strong big-sister energy, keeping things fun, inclusive and well-supervised while giving the girls space to just be themselves and enjoy being part of the group.

These Easter holidays, Beyond the Bell returns to Balmain Rowing Club for a screen-free holiday camp with flexible 1, 2 or 3-day booking options and a late-stay add-on for working parents.

Kids will explore the harbour, take on creative challenges, enjoy water games and nature-based play — all guided by qualified educators. Expect fresh air, teamwork and plenty of laughter, right beside Elkington Park and the foreshore.

Perfect if you want your kids outdoors, moving, and coming home happily tired (in the best way).

Along with our much-loved creative challenges, nature play and water-based games, children will also take part in on-water sailing experiences with the Skiff Club — giving them a true harbour-edge adventure in a safe, supportive setting.

Flexible 1, 2 or 3-day bookings are available, with a late-stay add-on for working families.

These school holidays, Beyond The Bell launches in Mosman with a three-day, screen-free outdoor holiday camp based at the beautiful Mosman Rowing Club, right at The Spit and moments from Clontarf Beach.

Alongside our much-loved team challenges, nature play and waterfront games, children will enjoy harbour-based activities in one of Sydney’s most spectacular outdoor settings — with open green space, calm Middle Harbour waters and marina-side exploration.

Flexible 1, 2 or 3-day bookings are available, with a late-stay add-on for working Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches families.
