After a very warmly received Summer program, Beyond The Bell Juniors returns for the Term 1 Easter school holidays across multiple Sydney locations.
Juniors is our special holiday program created for children who have just started school, offering a gentle, confidence-building experience in a caring, screen-free environment. It’s ideal for children still finding their feet in big school and ready for holiday fun that feels safe, familiar and supportive.
Our Easter Juniors programs will be hosted at:
• Balmain Rowing Club
• Balmain Scout Hall
• Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre
• Lane Cove 12ft Skiff Club
All programs are led by qualified educators with a 1:7 staff ratio — even lower than most preschools — ensuring every child feels supported, seen and included.
Each venue offers bright, welcoming indoor spaces with easy access to outdoor play areas, allowing days to naturally balance creative activities, imaginative play, games and relaxed outdoor adventures.
It’s the perfect mix of comfort, creativity and community — giving children the chance to build friendships, grow independence and enjoy their first school holidays in a positive, nurturing setting.
At Beyond The Bell Summer Camp, we believe in providing a fun and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and make lasting memories. Our programs are designed to foster creativity, build self-confidence, and promote teamwork and leadership skills.
Each morning, your child can proudly pack their lunch box, drink bottle and a few essentials for the day — a lovely way to keep building confidence, independence and routine after their first term of big school.
Inside their bag, please include:
• Packed lunch, morning tea and water bottle
• Hat and sunscreen for outdoor play
• A spare chan

• A spare change of clothes, just in case
• Anything that helps them feel comfortable — for some children, that might be a small soft toy or favourite book
We’ll take care of everything else — from creative crafts and games to story time and outdoor play.

Bring a favourite teddy or soft friend for a gentle, welcoming first day of Juniors.
We’ll enjoy stories, songs and imaginative play, make friendship crowns and create mini picnic mats, then head out for a group picnic at the park (weather permitting).

Tuesday — Mini Makers’ Day
A day for little hands and big ideas.
Children will explore colour, texture and creativity through painting, collage and craft activities, with “creation stations” set up around the room to encourage independent making and sharing ideas.
We’ll finish the day with a pop-up gallery walk so everyone can admire each other’s masterpieces before home time.
Wednesday — Park Play & Nature Explorers
A morning of outdoor adventures with group games, gentle challenges, bug hunts and nature crafts.
We’ll collect leaves, twigs and natural treasures to build our own “Nature Discovery Boards,” then enjoy a relaxed lunch under the trees before returning for quiet reading and rest time in the afternoon.
Thursday — Dress-Up & Storytime Theatre
A Juniors favourite and a wonderful confidence booster to finish the week.
Children are invited to come dressed as their favourite character for a day of storytelling, sing-alongs and puppet play.
We’ll build a mini stage for group performances and imaginative stories, celebrating creativity, bravery and growing confidence — every child gets their moment to shine.
